The Caorann-mor Ceilidh Band is incredibly versatile. Whether you want our talented 4-piece band with a huge repertoire of traditional and not-so-traditional Scots music, a wandering accordionist playing classical music, or a solo violinist playing a haunting traditional melody, we do it all. Based in Dalry, North Ayrshire we play throughout the West of Scotland.
The band contains professional musicians who are at the very top of their game. Most are classically trained with years of experience and playing some of the UK’s biggest venues, they are individually all incredibly competent in their own right; together, they are just brilliant!

There are many ways to celebrate an occasion or a special event - or even just to have a fantastic night out - but there are very few than can match the ceilidh for outright fun and enjoyment. If you have ever seen a ceilidh you cannot fail to notice the smiles and laughter as people reel and jig around the floor. Everyone is involved from the youngest to the oldest. Even when you are having a break from dancing (because you will need a rest at some point) the music itself is infectious and enjoyable to listen to and you will find your foot tapping along to the beat.
